Asphalt Parking Lot Sealing and Striping
Your asphalt parking lot and building are the first things your
customers see. They have already started to form an opinion of your business
before they have stepped foot in your door. If your parking lot is not well
maintained and has that dirty dull look, you could be losing customers and not
even know it.
We offer seven day a week seal coating and striping for your
convenience. We can also do your parking lot in sections on different days to
minimize disruption of your business.
Our sales manager will come out to evaluate your parking lot with
you. He can go over any concerns you may have and answers all your questions.
If you have a strip mall where several businesses are located we can contact
the owners for you.
Procedures prior to sealcoating and striping your parking lot;
- Notify all business owners of scheduled date. They can then direct
their employees where to park and also be aware of the work being
preformed.
- Block off an area to sealcoat without disrupting the traffic flow of
customers or deliveries.
- A contract will be signed between CJ Sealing and the property owner
prior to any work can be started. A deposit of between 25% to 50% will
also be required before any work can begin. This is to cover part of our
labor and material costs. A blank contract is available upon
request.
Parking lot sealcoating and striping procedures;
- We will notify the business owners we have arrived and what area of
the parking lot we will be sealcoating that day. They can then
direct their employees to move their cars if needed.
- We will then block off the area to be sealcoated and direct the
traffic flow until the area is completely cleared of all cars.
- Next we use high powered blowers to remove all trash and debris.
(Note; In some cases we have found that behind the buildings have become
dumping grounds. It is the owners responsibility to remove these items.
This could include store shelving or maybe a couch someone wanted to get
rid of.)
- Sealer is then applied using a spray unit in the main part of
the lot and squeegees are used around the building to insure no sealer
gets on the building or walk areas.
- On the second day the striping is done and the whole process is
repeated. The paint will dry in about a hours and the customers and
employees will then be able to use the newly sealcoated and striped area.
